ACAPULCO HOTEL - ALL INCLUSIVE AND DINING A LA CARTE IN ACAPULCO
Acapulco - Where to Stay and What to Eat
The Grand Mayan Wyndham Acapulco is a prime beachfront hotel, surrounded by lakes, canals, gardens and waterfalls. It is a truly magnificent spectacle. It is a stylized, luxurious vacation experience that can satisfy almost any desire.
Private Jacuzzi tubs can be found in the master rooms and suites which face the gardens or the ocean. Water activities, tennis courts, swimming pools and an aquatic park are all available on the premises. Relax in the world class Brio Spa or enjoy a sauna. The restaurants are fabulous and there is live entertainment every night.
For a very reasonably priced hotel near the city center, the Hyatt Regency Acapulco is a good choice. It is near the convention center but faces the ocean. The rooms are spacious and most have balconies. The hotel offers two swimming pools, tennis, a full service spa and an arcade for shopping. There are several places to eat on the property including a kosher restaurant. Although there are incredible hotels and resorts in Acapulco that are too numerous to mention, the Top Ten properties include:
The Fairmont Acapulco Princess, Las Brisas Acapulco, Camino Real Acapulco Diamante, Mayan Palace Acapulco Wyndham, Elcano Hotel, Emporio Acapulco, Fairmont Pierre Marques, Fiesta Americans Villas Acapulco, Continental Plaza Acapulco and the Acapulco Park Hotel. (Contact our travel agents to help you locate the best Acapulco hotel resort for your needs)
Las Brisas Acapulco (which was previously discussed) and the Fiesta Americana Villas Acapulco are two properties that were picked as great romantic getaway spots. The latter is located on Condesa Beach, not far from the shopping district, and all the rooms are comfortable and feature balconies or terraces. There are three great restaurants on the property as well as a pool, spa and health club.
The Top Ten Restaurants in Acapulco, rated by independent surveys and actual customers are:
Su Casa/La Margarita, Coyuco 22, El Zorrito, Madeiras, El Olvido, Baikal, El Faro, La Mansion, Paradise and Kookaburra.
Although there are many chain restaurants of the kind found in the U.S. in Acapulco, be adventurous and try something more exotic.
Tarascos, a Mexican food chain, and Tacos’ Tumbras are excellent local places to eat on the cheap. For a romantic dinner with that special loved one, you can try La Perla, an out-of-the-way place that serves marvelous international cuisine in a candlelit atmosphere. Grazziel also offers international food in a lovely restaurant overlooking Acapulco Bay. Soft instrumentals play in the background as you eat. Try the wine. It’s wonderful.
